A professional educator, Garry served as a classroom, teacher, leading teacher, principal and network convenor for the Victorian Department of education in a career spanning more than 30 years.
Garry’s continuous strive for excellence and dedication to effective school governance is an asset to the Department’s Improving School Governance School Council Training program. As a school leader, and now facilitator of the program, Garry is committed to ensuring Victoria’s state school councillors are knowledgeable in their roles and responsibilities and cognisant to the extent of their authority. Garry’s aim is that his contribution to this vital aspect of school operations leads to improved learning environments and curriculum outcomes for students.
