Howard is a life-long learner and educator, having Life Membership of the Victorian Principals’ Association. Howard’s expertise as an education consultant includes workforce planning, coaching, mentoring, network leadership and school reviews. As a principal with the Victorian Department of Education, Howard undertook a wide range of leadership development and school management positions. As District Liaison Principal, Howard was a self-confessed ‘change agent’ during a period of schools entering the era of self-management.
Howard’s knowledge and experience, ability to manage change and ongoing commitment to current educational practice serves Howard in his roles as a facilitator of the Improving School Governance School Council Training Program and as a workforce bridging officer.
