Associate / School Council Trainer

Sharon is a dedicated educator with more than 35 years’ experience as a teacher and school leader with Victoria’s Department of Education. Sharon is passionate about the survival of small schools and the invaluable support they provide for students and the broader community. For the last 8 years of her teaching journey, Sharon took on the role of principal at a small, rural primary school in central Victoria. From teaching in Sydney’s vibrant Western Suburbs to South Yorkshire, UK and visiting schools in California and Alaksa Sharon has experienced diverse educational landscapes.

Though retired from full time employment, Sharon continues to provide her services to Victorian education as a Principal Mentor, Improving School Governance School Council Training Facilitator and casual relief teacher.
